The Butterfly House

After the Science Museum on Wednesday, we went to The Butterfly House. I was especially excited about this for Madison, because she loves "B-by's!" Brian was more excited about seeing the dinosaurs at the Science Museum than he was the butterflies, but this is what happens when you go on vacation with three girls, I guess! I have never seen so many butterflies in my life. They were so pretty & everyone loved it. However, it was extremely hot and humid in the aviary, so we didn't last long! After having minor meltdowns in the gift shop over not getting every single thing they wanted, the girls ended up with little butterfly wands & necklaces. Afterwards, we played on the playground & were so excited to find that there was an indoor carousel to ride. And the best part about it was that it only cost $1! This was such a fun little outing! We went to Union Station & had Chinese food (pizza for the girls) before heading back to spend the evening in our room. Very fun, relaxing day! These pictures crack me up...Mackenzie loves having her picture taken! Madison, on the other hand...not so much! Ha,ha,ha! Madison said, "B-by! B-By! B-By!" over and over and over...
We attempted to watch a 15 minute video about butterflies...that didn't exactly last long!On to the park...

Mackenzie chose a pony with a pink saddle, Madison and I rode one with a purple saddle, and Brian got the left over one beside us...he said it was not very manly! (and he was right, but he looked cute on it anyway!) Madison is a Momma's Girls all the way! She was perfectly happy on this carousel since I was riding with her. As we were getting off of the carousel, Mackenzie decided she needed to take a picture of the deer so Pa could see it. She's so funny!
