We had a small joint family party for Mackenzie and Jonah this year, because of how things are with Covid. It was actually on Poppa Jim's birthday, so we got to celebrate him too! Oh, and Uncle John's birthday was around this time, so he got to blow out a candle too! =0))) We missed all of those who weren't able to be there, but we still had a great time. Mackenzie and Jonah both love Minecraft, so that was sort of the party theme, but I kept things pretty simple this time. I love listening to them play Minecraft together & connect in that way. I can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that Mackenzie is 14 years old...OR that Jonah is 8 years old...it makes me incredibly sad that they are growing up so fast. And yet, they are such cool kids & I love watching them grow!
** Side Note : Just a few days after this, Brian started feeling sick and tested positive for Covid. It was stressful, because we had to let all of our family who had been around him at the party, know about it. Thankfully I don't think anyone else got it. UGH!! Such strange times we are living in!

I'm so thankful that Uncle John comes to our family parties! We sure miss Bunny...this was the first party without her & it just wasn't the same. =0(
