SNOW DAY!!

Snow days are my favorite!! I love the excitement of school being cancelled, pretty snow coming down outside, yummy warm food to eat, bundling up and playing in the snow, cuddling on the couch and watching movies, playing games, doing puzzles, not having to go anywhere...just being with my favorite people!
This was the best snow we've had in a long time, so we loaded up and went to Mitch Park to go sledding. It was so cold though, that we weren't there for long. It was fun while it lasted though! We went back home and Daddy and the kids built "Olaf," the snowman. I was very impressed...I mostly watched from inside where it was warm! This was during the 48 hours that I had to wear a heart holter monitor, and it was driving me crazy. That thing was itchy and bothersome and I was SO glad when that 48 hours was up! When I did go out, I felt like a walrus in two layers of clothes, so pregnant and attached to a bunch of wires...ugh!!

This was funny...and pretty true most of the time! Ha!
So pretty!!
We started out our morning with our favorite big breakfast...chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs & strawberries!
And later on, chicken & noodles...the perfect snowy day crockpot meal!
How cute is she, in her new sweater, hat & gloves G-Ma got her for Christmas?!
She was the first one ready to go!
Oh how I love these kids!!
This boy has the hardest time opening his eyes for pictures...just like his daddy!
I love the way our house looks covered in snow!
Yes...this is what is left of a pumpkin still on our porch...on February 5th...covered in snow...lol! This is a good indication of what our life has been like the last several months. Complete survival mode and only the essentials have gotten taken care of. Obviously, throwing away this pumpkin was not high on our list of priorities! Hahaha! (We did throw it away after taking this picture, I promise!)
At first, Daddy wasn't sure the snow would stick together for a snowman, but he's so good that he made it work!
My view from Madison's window upstairs...makes my heart happy!
My contribution was the carrot nose and the spice lids for eyes!
Time to come in and warm up!
Sledding videos! Even Daddy got in on the action!
