CHA State Finals

The CHA football team made it to the State championship, so we went to Stillwater to help cheer them on! It. Was. COLD! Brian was in Colorado for Dare2Share training, and I started to stay home because of that, but I decided we could go on our own! And we made it just fine! Madison, Jonah and I sat with Kelly and Blake, and Mackenzie ran around with her friends most of the time. Mrs. Newton saved the day and gave us some hot hands warmers, and also a cow bell for the kids to ring! I really was about to freeze to death, and we lost, but I'm still so glad we went! There really is something about CHA that makes you feel like you're part of a family...there is a small-town feeling to it, very much like what Newcastle was like when we were growing up there! I am so very thankful that we are a part of it!
I was a little jealous of Jonah wrapped up in this cozy blanket!
The hot choclate helped for a few minutes at least!
Madison wrote this sweet note to Mrs. Newton to thank her for the hot hands and cowbell that she gave her and Jonah!
