After much deliberation, (and talking Madison out of Incredible Pizza--whew!) we decided on having her birthday party at Cherry Berry! This is the cheapest and easiest kind of party to have. BUT, the party room is TINY and I don't think it's intended for 20 kids to be packed in there! Since it was a "Puppy Party," I found these cute little stuffed animal puppies, and got supplies to make dog houses and collars, so each of the kids could "adopt" a puppy! It was the cutest & I think they all had fun with it. This was a little bit of a bittersweet time, because we are moving away from these friends soon, but I am so thankful for the friendships Madison has built here! Such precious little girls! (Well, and David! Madison REALLY wanted David to come, and he was a good sport to be the only boy! Actually, Jonah was there to lend his support too!) Madison got all kinds of fun new presents & best of all, she felt special and loved by her friends, which is why we do big birthday parties! Pizza, "Pup-Cakes," and frozen yogurt...every kids dream!
After the whirlwind of telling the church we are leaving last weekend and then having two birthday parties this weekend, I was one tired Momma, but it was worth it to see this smile on her face!
