Madison started her basketball season at the beginning of January. She actually missed their first game because we were driving back from the ski trip. Madison's personality is very quiet and timid, and at this point she isn't very aggressive at all on the basketball court. She did a lot of nervous hair twirling, especially during the first few games. I think the more games she plays, the more comfortable she will become. The important thing is that she's having fun! She is a great shooter and makes a lot of baskets during practice and at the beginning of the games. One thing I love about All Star basketball is that they let the kids shoot before the game and at halftime, and if they make it, their point counts toward the score of the game. It gives all of the kids a chance to score a point for their team! There are only 6 girls on her team, so if one girl is missing, the other 5 play the entire game without breaks. Here are some pic's from our first few games in January. It's going to be a great season for the Sparks!
She likes to make sure we are watching her!
I'm so glad Madison's sweet friend, Joslin is playing on our team!
Game #2
Mackenzie was also playing games through the first few weeks of January, so our Saturdays were full of running back and forth to basketball games!
Here are some video's from the first two games!
