Extended Care

A week or so into the school year, an email went out about a job opening for the after school extended care program. There's no doubt that money is tight right now for our family of 6, with me staying home. The girls have cheer practice every day until 5:00, so when I saw this, I thought I might as well go in and work for a few hours a day. And, the best part is I can take Jack with me! It will be from 3:00-5:30 most days, and from 12:00-5:30 on Wednesdays. So about 15 hours a week. Now I know that's not much, but I haven't had to show up on time every day for any kind of job in over 17 years. LOL! I know the time is coming when all of the kids are at school all day and I will need to really go back to work. So I'm just viewing this as a stepping stone to get me ready for that! =0) And I love that the boys will be there with me.
So here I am on recess duty...yea! =0) You know I just love walking around the playground when its nearly 100* outside.
Mrs. Ezell asked me to fill this out. I'm pretty certain no one is ever going to look at it, but I had fun doing it anyway!
We get to pack our lunch on Wednesdays and eat in the cafeteria. Jack can either go into the ABC room with the PreK and Kindergarten kids, or stay with me and the older kids in the cafeteria. So far, he has wanted to stick pretty close to me and Jonah.
Feeling official with a badge of my own!
