When Brian got back from his hike, we got ready and went to Paula Deen's Lumberjack Fued & Adventurepark. This was something Brian wanted to do, and honestly I wasn't too excited about it. I have never done a ropes course, even when I was a teenager, because I'm so scared of heights. I was wrong about this one though...this ended up being one of my very favorite parts of the entire trip. I was completely impressed by all of the kids and how brave they were! And I was proud of myself too, for doing something that was very hard for me. Madison and I went up on the low course first, because I knew she would be the one I would have to help the least. Haha! It was all I could do to take care of myself up there! That course wasn't so bad, because there were nets all around us and it wasn't so high off the ground. But, when we finished that one, we went up to the high course, where there are no nets...I was shaking like a leaf and it took me forever to just take the first step out onto that log. I managed to finally make it across the first obstacle, just to find out that there was a kid stuck on the course and we had to get off so they could rescue him. I was secretly celebrating inside, because that meant I could be done with the high ropes course and not look like a complete chicken! =0) Daddy took Mackenzie & Jonah on the low course and they did great! Then he decided to take Madison & Jonah on the high course. Mackenzie wanted to stay on the ground with me and Jack...smart girl! I could not even believe that Jonah agreed to go on the high course. I was AMAZED at how well he did that! I still can't believe it...he was so brave! Madi too! There were a few tears from her at one point, but she overcame her fears and made it all the way around the high course.
There was also a zipline/coaster ride...Brian and Madison were the only ones brave enough to do that one...I thought I could do it, and even climbed what seemed like a thousand stairs to do it...but it was just way too high and scary for me, so I made the walk of shame back down the stairs! Ha!
There were some other fun lumberjack things to do also, like a log roll and log races. We spent 2 or 3 hours at the Adventurepark, before it was time for the show to start. The kids LOVED the show & cheered for our team, the McGraw's, the entire time! =0) By the time the night was over, we were all exhausted and ready for bed.
Jonah looked like a lumberjack in this hat! Hahaha! Sad thing is that he laid it down somewhere and we lost it there that day. Boo!

Madi and I went on the low course first...
Then it was Daddy, Jonah & Mackenzie's turn! (Mack wasn't overly excited about this entire ropes course idea...I'm with her!) Madi jumped in at the end of their low ropes & showed them how it was done...haha!

After finishing the low ropes course, we headed over to the Log Roll...I was out on that one...that water was WAY too cold! I had fun laughing at everyone else! =0)
I am so so glad Jonah's glasses didn't fall into that water!
Daddy & Madi were the only ones brave enough to do the Zipcoaster...I thought I could do it...and even hiked 80% of the way to the top...before chickening out and taking the walk of shame back to the bottom. It did look like so much fun, but it was just SOOOO high up there!
Jonah was really good at climbing up the log & went way higher than either of the girls would go.

And finally...the high ropes course...
Jonah, Madi & Daddy were the real MVP's of the day! Madi and I went up first, and I managed to make it across the first section, just to be told we had to come back so they could rescue a scared kid off of the course...I was not too happy, because it took every bit of courage I could muster to get up there in the first place. But hey, it probably saved me from getting stuck out there and having to be rescued myself!
I could not even believe how brave Jonah was...that was a scary thing for such a little boy! Madi too...so proud of both of them!
This is where Madi got upset. Sweet girl! There were people coming up behind her, and I think it stressed her out and made her feel like she had to hurry. Daddy was busy helping Jonah most of the time, so she had to do more by herself. I was cheering her and encouraging her from below as much as I could. She made it and I was so proud of her!

And finally, we ended the day with the Lumberjack Feud show at 5:00...the kids had a blast cheering for out team, the McGraws!
They gave out "cookies" (pieces of chopped up wood) to people who cheered and got involved in the show. We tried so hard to win one...the kids even had signs that they made earlier in the day...but no luck!
Their chainsaws were LOUD!
Hahaha!
We picked up Bojangles on our way back to the condo...yum!!
