Fall Festival

CHA has a Fall Festival every year around this time to raise money for the teachers to have Christmas bonuses. Each class sponsors a booth & the parents volunteer to run it. G-Ma and Rex & Poppa and Louise came for dinner and walked around with us for a little while. My favorite thing was the "cake" walk...instead of numbers on the chairs, they had character qualities on them. Loved that! There were a LOT of chairs & I was a little worried when Madison became determined to win something. But thankfully, she and Jonah both won before the night was over! Jonah's class sponsored a Miniature Golf game & it was so cute! There was also a silent auction and a bake sale. There were moon bounces and games outside too, and the girls just ran around with their friends for the most part. There really is something special about CHA...you can just feel it. There is a sense of "family" and "belonging" here that we have really been missing the past few years. We are so very thankful that God led us to CHA this year! I only wish we had come sooner, but I know God's timing is perfect!
The 5th grade game was a huge hit...literally! If you hit hard enough, you won a stuffed animal!
I think it was the PreK class that made this big tunnel maze out of cardboard boxes...it was the coolest thing! They gave the kids glow necklaces and off they went. It was pretty impressive, really!
The two Mackenzie's in 6th grade!
How precious are these pictures?!

One of the moms in our classroom is an amazing photographer. She came up and took these adorable golf themed pics of the kids to decorate our booth with!
This is what Madi wanted to win so badly at the cake walk!
And Jonah's pick was this monkey!
