Brian did a speaking event in Missouri Friday night and Saturday, for the Missouri Baptist Convention, and then he spoke at FBC Joplin on Sunday morning. I was SO excited when I found out about this, because it meant that I got to go see my friend Lori! And, it meant that Brian and I got a weekend away together, of course!
Lori was so sweet to invite us to spend the night with them Saturday night. She is the hostess with the mostest! She and Chance took Brian and I, and Jason & Christy (the Youth Pastor at FBC Joplin) out to a very nice steak restaurant for dinner Saturday night. When we got back to her house, we stayed up way too late talking and catching up! I love and miss her so very much!
It was a great weekend!

G-Ma sent me a few pics of the kids while we were gone! They had a fun weekend with her, watching movies and going to church on Sunday. Mackenzie got to go up front with Poppa for their birthdays at church! I am so thankful that they love going to G-Ma's, and she loves having them, so I am able to travel with Brian like this!
