The kids had their first program at CHA, the Patriotic program, and we loved it SO much! We were so glad Poppa & Louise, Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin & G-Ma could all be there. Jonah's class sang a song about Christopher Columbus that was adorable! Madison had to choose a profession to dress as, so she went as a veterinarian! Her entire grade was dressed in different professions to go along with the song they sang and it was so cute. Mackenzie's grade sang the Armed Forces medley, and she was part of the Air Force portion of the song. That song gets me every time! She also had a speaking part at the very end of the show, and she did great! It is really special that they are all three in the elementary programs this year. This is the only year that will happen, because Mackenzie will move up to the secondary side of things next year. Waahhh!!!
I was not feeling well at all on this day...I had taken a new medication and had a bad reaction to it early in the morning. Thankfully I snapped out of it and managed to make it to the school for the program!
As we left the school, my heart was filled with such thankfulness that we are in this place! God has given us such peace and affirmation that we are right where He wants us, and it is a wonderful feeling! We don't deserve His favor and provision, but we are sure thankful for it!
Jonah's entrance! It was so cute...kids came into the auditorium from every direction!
