Game Day State was at Moore High School, the Saturday right after Regionals. We were competing against 13 teams, and I think we got 6th or 7th place if I remember right. They were one team away from making it to the finals, where they would have done their routine again. The girls were a little disappointed, but they did great and we were still very proud! Once again, I think I was way more nervous than Mackenzie was. Carver was spending the weekend with GMa so he got to come with her to watch Mackenzie. His excitement was so sweet and cute! Brian stayed home with the boys this week, because we are realizing more and more that its just very hard to take Jack places these days. No doubt about it, I was relieved when this competition was over. But also just so very proud of Mackenzie and how she added to the routine as the mascot this year! Now that I know what its like for her to compete with the team, I can't wait to see what Nationals will be like. What a fun year this is turning out to be!
