Baldwin Family Blog: Jan Misc.

Here are a bunch of misc. pics and videos from January. There really weren't any "big" events or activities in January, just lots of normal day-to-day things to take pics of! While January was filled with a lot of sadness and hard days, facing the decision of taking this position in OKC, it was also filled with a lot of sweet, fun memories!

The picture above was taken one Sunday on our way out of church...they love riding the golf cart to the van, regardless of how close we are parked to the door!

Check on that messy hair! Jonah and I were cuddling on the couch early one morning and when he realized that he and Lucky matched, he said, "I wuv Wucky! I his mommy!" =0) Sweetest. EVER.

Sometimes when I pull out of the driveway, I just stop and look at our beautiful house. Especially now that we are potentially going to be moving to OKC later this year, and may not get to live in it for much longer. I know the "house" is not what makes a "home," but I sure do love this one!

I took Mackenzie for an ear checkup, and this what during the hearing test...when we got in there to do it, they weren't able to because she had a lot of drainage. What I didn't know when I took these pictures was why she was looking so serious...she had been keeping it a secret from me that she had been having issues again with her ears, and she knew she had been "found out." This sweet girl has had more ear troubles...so now we are doing drops for a week and then going back in to decide what to do about her tubes. May have to have them taken out.

I love being in Children's Choir with Jonah! It's always so cute and fun that I have to video or take pictures almost every week!

Madison made her bed and decorated it for G-Ma to sleep in on a recent stay...this girl loves puppy dogs SOOOO much!

I think they were dancing with the Wii and decided they needed boots on!

This is where we eat donuts at church! These kids have never known anything but STBC...I can't imagine how hard it will be for us to leave.

Well, I tried to quit drinking Diet Coke a few months back, but I'm back to drinking it way too much. Sometimes, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. It makes me happy!

I got a new shirt yesterday and when Brian saw me wearing it, he said, "I like your new shirt...and hey, if you ever need a skunk costume, you've got it covered." I mean REALLY?! My hashtag response to this was #gladhethinksthecouchiscomfy

Madison drew this picture during church, but she drew boy hair on Mackenzie, which totally hurt Mackenzie's feelings. I mean, it was a BIG deal! I told Madison to apologize and a few minutes later she had drawn long hair and a "hat" on Mackenzie. Oh, the drama! So funny!

Jonah refused to ride in the top part of the basket these days.

It is the beginning of January and they already have Easter Reeses eggs out...WHY????

This is another new trick he has learned!

Playing beauty shop with Madison...she did my nails, fixed my hair, gave me a massage & fed me delicious cookies. What a treat!!

My overly obsessive tendency to take pictures of everything has rubbed off on Mackenzie...I found a bunch of pictures of this on my phone today...it is a piece of cheese off of her quesadilla...it looked like a bird so she just HAD to take a picture of it before she ate it! LOL! So funny!!
