Mackenzie had her first basketball game today and it was so fun! This is her second time to play and I think she understands the game much better this year. I'm sort of sad that she is over the whole skipping up and down the court thing! She is excited to have her friends Bella and Addison on her team this year. My favorite part of watching her play is when she is playing defense...she really stays after the girl she is guarding! I'm not sure if basketball is something she will want to stick with as she gets older, but for now she seems to enjoy it and have fun, so that's all we really care about. Looking forward to fun basketball season!

I love how Mackenzie stays right in her spot, with her arms up, watching the game happen all around her! She figured out soon after this that she was supposed to guard her girl.
