So much to say about this week...first, I got my hair colored a little darker today. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. One of my kids quickly said "you look prettier with blonde hair...long pause...but it's still pretty like this." Uhhhh, thanks?! Kids are funny!
The crazy thing is that I had covid on this day, but I didn't know it yet. I hadn't felt great for a few days, but I had no idea that I had covid. I guess that's one reason this disease spreads so rapidly...people don't even know they have it and unknowingly expose others. My hairdresser, Stacey, wasn't feeling well either and it turns out that she had covid too. At least we didn't expose each other, because we both already had it. So crazy.
I was feeling sad about the end of breastfeeding Jack, so I decided to go buy myself a present. I went to the Kendra Scott store while the kids were at church and picked out this pretty necklace, kind of to commemorate the season of breastfeeding my babies coming to an end.
Maybe that sounds silly, but I love it so much. It makes me happy every time I look at it and think about why I got it & what it represents.
Sometimes you just need a little pampering...I could definitely do without the covid though!
My hair appts these days are not exactly relaxing and peaceful, when I have Jack with me.
These pants & shoes though...
