(Kindergarten) Love Is In the Air

Jack and Khloe have kind of a Kindergarten crush going on...
Khloe's brother plays basketball with Jonah, so they drew pictures for each other during the games we played on Saturday. I didn't realize quite how serious things were with them, until Khloe showed me her drawing...of her and Jack laying in bed holding hands under the covers. Wait...what?! LOL!!! I mean...WHAT?! Hahahaha! Let's slow things wayyyyy down here. =0) One of Jack's drawings for Khloe was of the two of them riding on a scary looking dinosaur. Girls and boys are so different!
I mean--Brian and I were in the same Kindergarten class, just saying...you just never know about these things!

Basketball Homecoming

Tonight was basketball Homecoming. The co-ed cheer is always a highlight of Homecoming week.
Jonah is very patient (most of the time) to let Jack hang out with his friends. Jack thinks he's just as big as the rest of them!
Jack and the ladies of Kindergarten! Lol!
Jack and Chloe are pretty good buddies!
Co-Ed Routine, at the Pep Assembly

Double Trouble

These Kindergarten besties were so excited to "dress up" as twins for Homecoming week! They are too cool for school! So thankful for their sweet friendship.

Good Ol' Virtual Learning Days

Monday was a true snow day, but Tuesday & Wednesday were virtual learning days. I miss the good ol' days before covid, when that wasn't even a thing. I think I legit still have PTSD from covid virtual learning...
At least Madi and Jonah are pretty well self sufficient and do most of their work independently!
Spiderman suit on...ready to get to work writing his numbers to 100!
Madi had a lot of work to make up from being sick and missing some school the week before too. I love how cozy and cute her bedroom is.
Gotta start the day with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, even at home!

Snowed in with the Sickies

The snow started Friday night and went all throughout the day Saturday and Sunday. I think we got between 7-8" of snow, which is a lot for Oklahoma.
This was the same week the three big kids were all very sick--Mackenzie and Madi with the flu, and I'm not sure what Jonah had but he didn't feel well at all. So they couldn't go out in the snow for the first few days. Jack was all about the snow though, and he loved sledding! Jonah and Mackenzie eventually felt like coming out for a few minutes on Tuesday to help build a snowman and sled a little, but poor Madi was down and out. I love being snowed in with my people, but it's definitely much better when everyone is healthy.
Sunday morning we woke up to more snow!
Pleeaaasssseeeee can we go out and play in the snow?! I wonder how many times he asked this, before we finally went out to play...
Look Momma, I'm ready...Lol!
Proof that Momma & Daddy may be "older parents," but we are still pretty cool...
Jump, Jack, Jump!!
Back inside to warm up with our Pringles and Spidey pj's!
Sledding day two! The snow was all done by Monday, and the sun was shining bright...but it was COLD!
Finally, on Tuesday, Jonah and Mackenzie joined us for some fun in the snow before it melted.
We threw snowballs at Madi's window and finally got her to at least peek out at us!
